“ I was looking for something new for lunch and my wife I stopped into Margies... we were not disappointed! Its so unassuming from the outside but the bar area was very nice and the dining room, although maybe a little small, was very clean nice for a lunch spot. We were greeted with a smile from Mary, who was excellent by the way! We asked for some recommendations as it was our first time here even though weve lived not far for nearly 15yrs. She ran through some suggestions and we both decided on the Hot Roast Beef sandwich with fries my wife a sm me the lg, both sandwich fries covered in gravy. I can honestly say that the roast beef might be the best Ive ever had! No joke, the beef literally melted in your mouth it was so good! Portions were great. We split some Cajun fried pickles too... yum! Great experience and we will definitely be back! ..... well, I went back yesterday with some friends and the food was amazing! Service was great. I encourage people to check it out! A few friends got the roast beef sandwich and I got the medium fish fry... YUM! ”
“ Margies serves some of the best fish fry in town and I love their soft pretzels, but its not the most comfortable place. The tables are wobbly and the speaker system can get a little loud if they sit you in the back. Worth it though. ”

“ We recently went to Margies for a fish fry. You have a choice of small, medium, or large. Husband got the large, which is actually huge. I ordered the medium which I ended up taking half of it home. Comes with sides which are all homemade. Food came to the table in a timely manner and was hot. They also have a great variety of appetizers. Greeted upon entering, and the waitresses are attentative and friendly. Been here several times, we are never disappointed. Nice, friendly neighborhood vibe. ”
“ It is fantastic the absolute best fish fry I have ever had no exaggeration not kidding even a little bit. The staff was so friendly, helpful and amazing . The large fish Fry was huge and I mean huge. Everything was so good. The salads were fresh. I mean I cant say enough. I was so happy. I left a tip with the server for everyone as well as giving a tip to the kitchen staff. Amazing people ,great place I would recommend them to anybody. ”
